Privacy and compliance
DPDP compliant from the first message
Every campaign follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Consent, unsubscribe and the right to be forgotten are built in, not bolted on.
DPDP compliance powered by
PrivyComply is the DPDP compliance platform behind consent, rights requests and retention in 1DayHiring.
17 safeguards
How 1DayHiring protects candidate data
Consent, one purpose at a time
- Separate consent for each purpose: WhatsApp, SMS, RCS, email, voice, AI screening, recordings and talent pool. Optional boxes are never pre-ticked.
- A consent trail that can't be altered, with a record of exactly what each candidate saw and agreed to.
- No consent, no message. Consent for each channel is checked before anything is sent.
- Candidates give consent before any psychometric assessment.
Candidate rights, built in
- A full DPDP privacy notice on every apply page, in multiple languages.
- A candidate privacy centre for access, correction, withdrawal and deletion requests.
- One-click opt-out, email unsubscribe and a do-not-call list.
- Withdrawing consent deletes the data collected under it.
- A grievance officer contact and complaint tracking.
Data kept isolated and short-lived
- Each employer's data is isolated at the database level.
- Automatic deletion after a set time, and talent-pool consent that expires.
- Unfinished uploads are deleted automatically within 24 hours.
- Erasure that includes the assessment partners' copies, needs the owner's approval and is logged.
- A published list of the partners that process candidate data.
- A log of who viewed or exported candidate data.
Clear roles and human decisions
- Clear roles: the employer is the Data Fiduciary and 1DayHiring is the Data Processor.
- Human in the loop: AI assists, and a person decides.
